The Alpine mono amp looks good. The owner manual for the amp will give you guide lines for the wire size.
Just turn on the subwoofer mode in you alpine deck.
Hook up the rca that says subwoofer to the amp.
Then tune the amp to your bass liking.

What is the difference on Sony CX-550V and XR-550V? which is better?
Also what the difference on buying CX-550V v.s. CX-350V meaning the higher internal flash Hard disk. One is like ~$1200 and the other is like ~$700, if the difference just on the disk space (what about Memory stick and SD cards?
Last but not least. are those models any good? If not, can you reocmmend a good brand and model?
Camcorder's are all about Digital Video..the file is called..DV
===
Today we have the new OS's..and HD seems to be your choice for high quality video..
===
Next is..ease of operation..a camcorder may have a HDD or DV tape..or a SD card..
There are playback products that really correspond to these configurations..
There is also the Frame Size..always check your Camera Specifictaions..
I prefer DV Tape..if I wanted a HDD camcorder..I would prefer larger than 40-GBs/
I really don't want a camcorder creating MP4 Files..
===
Next is the Lens..and the Image Stabilization..
Having a camera with Digital Zoom..is less of a camera..than Optical Zoom..
..same with image stabilization..and image stabilization will dis-connect once its parameter's have been pushed..
===
Then there are simple features..like your Power(ON/OFF)Button..
Connecting the battery..and installing the DV-tape..
===
Why use a Camcorder with a HDD..??
There are some issues with DV-tape..that a HDD would eliminate..
I still prefer the DV-tape..for its extra portability factor on large projects..
The HDD camcorder would ceretainly serve the Hobbiast..and family photographer..
DV-Tape tends to develop worn spots..and the act of rewinding can cause issues..
===
Camcorders that use SD-cards..and also take high resolution jpgs..
Well..ya' can't beat that..
But I would always want my trusty DV-tape camcorder..
===
I would always recommend the Canon line of camera's..no matter what your looking to accomplish..they are really alot of fun..
===
Next would be Panasonic..
And I personally would think of moving to a NIKON product..
The SONY product line is a configuration of CAPTURE and PLAYBACK..performance..
The SONY product line offers the fast paced lifestyle..its stardom.
