Does anybody know where I can find discontinued saddlebags for my new Harley?
Three weeks ago I took delivery of my 2007 Dyna Super Glide Custom. I tried to order saddlebags (Part # 90460-06B). They have been discontinued. in the 2008 catalogue the new part (90181-08), is similar, but not the same. The 2007 part number had a "silver spear with a bar and shield accent. The new item just has an embossed "bar & shield". The dealer tells me that Harley discontinued the 2007 item and left several dealers hanging with orders pending from customers for this item.
I've already checked on E-bay. My only option at this point is to pay $900 (plus installation) for saddlebags that I don't like. Even if I add the "silver spear" it won't look the same. Where can I get the saddlebags that I want?
Go to an upholstery shop or bike shop and get a quote to make the ones you want, probably be way cheaper than the dealership. This way you can get what you want, the way you want, and have something for your bike that you and only you have.

CHANGING EXHUAST ON MY HARLeY?
have the vance and hines straight shot slip ons coming in the mail for my 2009 Dyna super glide custom. i plan to replace the baffles that come with it with the big city thunder monster bafffles. i know that the slip ons dont require any change as far as the EFI but do the new baffles do? I spoke with my harley dealer and he said that some guys add power commanders i think he called it piggy backing but its not necessary for slip ons. i didnt mention the baffles tho.
For the price of those pipes and a power commander, you could buy a bike with twice the horsepower of that two wheeled tractor.
Fantastic looking bike! I'm looking to do the exact same thing with my bars and front location of the turn signals. Cheers!
I just paid $8500 for an '08 model and it only had 5200 miles on it. I guess i gotta good deal…

Maybe you'll know this… a lot of people are wondering what the bikes are that SAMCRO ride…specifically Jax. I believe it's a Dyna Super Glide Custom, but not too sure. Any idea what the modifications are?
