A question about Harley Saddlebags. interchangeable?
I have just bought a 94 Heritage. I need some new bags as the ones on it are cowhide hair-on and a bit small. I'd like some traditional heritage style or even the hard leather road king style. I'm wondering if roadking bags will fit on a heritage? and if there are places to purchase used bags aside from ebay and craigslist?
Road King Bags will NOT fit on a Heritage!!!...different mounting point and brackets. Go to an HD Dealer, you can look in the HD accessory catalog, the factory parts book and aftemarket books like Drag Specialties. Bags of all types can be found for your bike, but you will have to do the research to find what you like. There are actually a couple different styles the factory used on that bike, you mentioned traditional Heritage bags, the factory parts book is where you will find them.

Mikey you make it look easy, I will just continue to practice on my metal clip boards, mail boxes, and when I finally get brave enough my own HD road king classic.
Very fine ride … although it is NOT stock for US. Pipes might be but the stock US model comes with no 4 point mount kit, sissy bar, pad, chrome passenger boards, or those HD driver board inserts.
I'm a very girly girl…so when I got my motorcycle drivers license 3 years ago my whole family was shook-up! This Christmas my hubby went out and bought me a Harley-Davidson Pearl White 2002 Road king Classic!!! I've never had anyone ever buy me a car or anything big ticket like this before…I almost came out of my frame!
So monetary…this bike is THE BEST gift I ever received….however, being lucky enough to have my good health, great family and a spiritual understanding husband, is the gift I give thanks for every year!
i have always riden metric bikes and then two years ago i bought an FLH 1340….and i find your review spot on …riding it is just how you put it..not a fast bike but gobs of torque….and after all it's like you said…. it is an “ICON”…plus it has to be the number one bike for after market parts…to make it easy to make it YOUR bike….thanks for the intuitive video…….
There is one in my area in NC. That area definitely has a higher drug rate and somewhat of a higher violence rate.
Long but I loved it! 10/10
