Rebuildable Salvage street

What is a rebuildable salvage title and what does it mean?

I found a motorcycle I wanna buy on craigslist at a very fair price, the only thing is it has a rebuildable salvage title and I'm not to sure what that means. I thought it was for damaged vehicles that where yet to be rebuilt but the bike is running well and in good condition.

Can anyone tell me what this title means and what effect it might have(will insurance cost more, is it street legal to ride with that title etc..)

It means it was involved in an accident, and while written off by the insurance company, it wasn't damaged so severely that the state decided it should NEVER be allowed back on the road.

Its value will be less than a clean title.
