Does it matter the demographics that they are trying to appeal to? Given the bleak prospects for young workers in Japan, would this bike even have been built if the marketing campaign was geared towards them? Would it have changed the substance of the bike?
That Suzuki TL1000 looks and sounds like a nice ride! The looks on those naked twin sports bikes is definitely killer … The Harley XR1200 blacked out is pretty sweet lookin, although I haven't heard rave reviews about its rideability…
I do need to get a replacement bike, primarily for use and sale in Europe in the future, but which one? The choices are bewildering: – Honda VFR 1200 – Honda VFR 800 + helibars – Honda Goldwing – KTM 990 SMT – a nice Buell Uly XT – V-Strom – Harley Electraglide – Harley XR1200 – etc, etc
