harley Softtail Deluxe
will a sissy bar from a 2005 harley davidson heritage softtail fit a 2006 softtail deluxe?
I think so but you will need to probibly buy the side rails for the heritage and maybe get the rear fender drilled for the bolts. Or they might make a quick detach sissy bar for the deluxe. The quick detach would be better in my opinion...if I want to take off my sissybar I have to take bolts and the hardware off...
I like the deluxe...I ended up buying a heritage though becuase it came with the bags, windsheild and sissybar...I gotta have the bags for work stuff...

2005 harley davidson softtail deluxe parked in a garage with it back fender 1 inch from back wall, and tire turned left. Someone hit it, bent the front and rear fender (drove rear fender into brick wall). Bike has been repaired by a harley dealer, bike rides fine tracks true and no vibration but hanndle bars and tree seems to be by eye slightly to the right. Any ideas??? Kevin G
when your riding in a straight line down the road look at the distance between the tank and the lower forks. If the distance is the same then your handlebar is twisted one way or the other (usually the risors).
If it's not the same distance then the rear tire is out of alignment, take the bike back to the dealer and tell them to re-align the rear axle.

Find a good metal fabricator shop. Find a good welder in that shop. An artist with a torch can make anything fit anywhere. It's just a matter of clearance's and costs.
