what do you think? i am turning my Ford ranger into a harley edition?
I am turning my Ford Ranger into a Harley edition i would like suggestions on items/decals to use? i have a banner accross the front top window and a symbol on the tail gate it has seat covers floor mats and steering wheel cover all from harley what else can i do?
Love the Ford Ranger...and a Harly Edition sounds great. I'm a Harley Rider too. Try looking on Ebay for dscals and or embolem..ect to help with your project. Check out your local HD dealer and look around for items you think you could ues too.Another idea is to look at Ford's HD edition full size truck for ideas . Sounda GREAT have fun.

if you drill a new hole in the fender for the rear mount, you may be able to make it work, but you'll still have a gap between the front of the seat and the tank because the tanks are quite different. doesn't seem worth the effort

x Soni is a funny dude. Unfortunately if you buy any bikes he suggested, you will be pronounced dead in front of the bike dealership. If you are a beginner skip the 250, it's way too under powered even for a beginner. Get a Suzuki Katana 600, or a Yamaha YZF600R. I would prefer the Yamaha, it looks more convincing as a sport bike. I personally prefer bikes like x Soni mentioned, but those are way over your head at this point.
Buell is out of business. 250 ninja good for smaller people. Suggest Suzuki S40 Boulevard or the S65 model. Light but good torque- meets your speed requirement but doesn't exceed it by much. A 5 year old Honda or other cycle would be a good first bike on general principles- it will get beat a bit. The old 550 cycles were a good road bikes- I had a 550 Suzi for work bike as alternate to Goldwing, cousin has it now. Current CM400 trainer can do 100mph – but it is a bit small for you- a 5'3" lady is learning on it. Similar models with full height seats exist around 500cc. ** the other poster recommending hotrod cycles may get you killed in first week of riding- I'm suggesting easy to learn and ride for beginner cycles as you requested. I wouldn't recommend more than a old 750 Honda for first bike . If you want a Harley- the 883 Sportster has a good rep for ease of riding. I had a couple in early years riding 1970's but I'd ridden T500 Suzuki and 1954 FL Harley before 1968 sporty. The idea is to live to ride, not have a spectacular crash**.
