Where can I find the actual invoice prices for Harley Davidsons, without going to a dealer?
Looking for websites that provide free invoice prices on Harleys for 2005-2007. Also, what is the standard markup, and generally accepted percentage over invoice that you should buy a bike?
Depends on where you live, dude. Some places (liek Georgia) require dealers to reveal invoice, retail, and the elements that go into the "mark-up". But that's on new vehicles (including bikes). When you buy used, it is pretty much "caveat emptor", unless your locality has a "lemon law" that allows the return of machines sold under false pretenses.
So, my advice is to first find out what your government's buyer protection laws are. Then ask the dealer what the invoice price is. If they won't tell you, look elsewhere and report them.

I went to a Catholic HS and was forced to go to mass once a week. They’d ring a bell and everyone would walk into the gym en masse. For 3 years I would quickly open up a side door, hop in my car, go buy an egg McMuffin, and hang out at a nearby Harley dealer. After an hour, I’d head back to school and go to my next class. The one time I did go I was right in the first row. I gulped down all of the wine before the third person (out of 400) could even get to it. The lady serving it was straight horrified.
IIRC, he needs money to save his family farm and a horse uncovers a motorcycle in a barn and the guy brings out the local Harley Dealer to look at it. Eventually Jay Leno calls him up and only after he looks under the seat does he find out.

Harley-Davidson fell on hard times due to the same economic euphoria that led to our current economic situation. As a Harley dealer I could not believe the amount of expansion they invested in during the last decade. It has come back and bit them hard. Fortunately, they did not bury themselves like Chrysler or GM. Who is paying the price for these mistakes? Many Harley dealers have gone out of business due to the highly-demanding requirements of Harley to build Taj Mahal dealerships with the corresponding overhead. But the ones that have taken it the hardest are the factory workers plus a large number of salaried workers who are no longer employeed.
Hey nurseiam, thanks for the info. Unfortunately I got the system installed before you got back to me. I did get the SE gaskets and that worked well. I wish I removed the horn but just worked around it. I have a Powercommander on my 2004 Roadglide but opted for the H-D EFI Super Tuner on this bike. I had the Harley dealer tune it for me.

A lot of dealer type shops wont work on brands other than there own, as they cannot make any money selling parts, if a Honda dealer has to buy Harley parts they have to pay full price for them. so they dont get the 100% mark up.

Many parts are special – so replacements, other than genuine Harley, are difficult. By the time a non-Harley repair is made – the mechanic having to purchase the part from Harley, has to charge as much or more than a Harley repair shoppe due to extreme mark-ups a non–dealer has to pay.
