Why are there so few motorcycle ads on TV compared to car ads?
It seems that there is a disproportionately high number of car ads on TV compared to motorcylce ads. I don't believe I've ever seen an ad, for example, for Harley Davidson, or Kawasaki. By comparision, I see a car ad almost every time I watch TV. Why is this?
Most adults "need" a car. A motorcycle is a "want," usually a discretionary purchase. So, there are fewer sales to drive ads and profits.
