What is wrong with MTV? Are they kidding or is this the way USA really is ?
Bmw jeeps given as 16th birthday presents to spoilt kids, 10 bedroom 'cribs' of rich people who own 2 ferraris 2 jaguars 5 harley davidson.... How usual is it in the USA bmw cars being given as presents of 16th birthday? And is it a USA propoganda or something? These shows are shown in some of the poorest countries of our planet and our planet is a planet where almost half of those who live on it live with an earning less than 2 dollars a day...
With the economy the way that it is and the fact that household debt in the US is rising, it amazes me that MTV keeps promoting the consumer, selfish, lifestyles that they do. The way of life that MTV portrays is no where near how the vast majority of Americans live. Contrary to popular belief, not all of us care about the price or type of car we drive, or the brand of our clothes. It's so sad to me that so many of the people in our culture are so shallow and materialistic.
The first company that comes to mind that embraces their archetype and sends a consistent brand message is Harley Davidson. They are known as the “outlaw.” Harley Davidson sends the message that anyone can “break the rules” when riding their motorcycles and wearing their merchandise. The company supports this archetype through the slogan “American by birth, Rebel by choice” and by incorporating imagery such as skulls, the color black, and the outdoors. Thanks for the comment!

Normally it is movie, cuddling, laughing, but today, after dealing with my students who are testing me to see how far I will let them go, it was a HARLEY DAVIDSON 2 hour ride through Orlando. I needed a reminder that there are louder things than my loving students.

atleast DB sits around the house in clothes….The Boss thinks he's a fashion statement in underpants and socks….because his feet get cold…when he does dress to leave the house….and thank god pants go on at this time…..he looks like he has a body tattoo because all I ever see him in is a Harley Davidson tee-shirt or depending on the weather a Harley Davidson sweatshirt….and ofcourse socks because he has cold feet.
