stock audi will shit on stock ford, modded audi will shit on modded ford.
I have owned, or rebuilt countless Beetles and Mopar Turbo and non-Turboes and they both are easy and parts are plentiful, so it was quite difficult to make the decision… Ultimately I chose the Shelby even though I believe it is not the turbo model. The picture isn’t quite clear enough to tell if it has the power bulge or the Hibachi grille on the hood and can’t see the sides to tell how many lugnuts it has! Mainly my reason was A/C and fuel injection (provided it was a turbo)… well that and double or triple the stock horsepower of the cucaracha, with plenty more on tap with bolt on components. Now that doesn’t mean that the Beetle is incapable of speed, quite the contrary… my little brother has a ’72 Super that is going rotary very soon (next couple of weeks) and a 13b puts out 145 hp to a 700lb lighter chassis! The Fiat… MEH, doesn’t do much for me, not a big fan of drop-tops (unless they are blonde, brunette or redhead) and Tony and I have never been real close!
Hi Jeff,
We're at $1.30 per litre. After working it out at 3.785 per gallon and adjusting for currency, we are EXACTLY at $5.00 per U.S. gallon. You, my friend have a bargain.
At current price levels, in Ontario our tax on gasoline is about 30%. It varies, depending on the market gas price, because some taxes are fixed cents per litre, while others are a %.
Vespa scooter? Jeff, I own Harley Davidson stock. You need a hog.
Cheers,
George
If you don't plan on completely ricing out your car, leave the intake off. First of all, the cone filters these kits come with let more air into your engine by not filtering as well as a standard filter – letting more junk get in. There is a chance it will throw a check engine light since the car's computer thinks something is wrong because more air than normal is coming in. If this is an actual cold air intake, you do have to worry about water coming in through the intake depending on how well it's protected from the road. The cold air will have more oxygen in it, so you will get slightly better mpg if you don't drive more aggressively because you like the cool sound. If the intake is just in your engine bay, the filter sucks in hot air from under the hood and actually lowers your performance and gas mileage. The chance of getting a ticket is pretty much zero because the police don't have x-ray vision and can only tell you have an intake by seeing it. All in all, they are more trouble than they are worth. If aftermarket air intakes actually worked better than the standard air box, car makers would be using them!

buying parts doesnt matter from where its if the parts fits right or not that matter
can order or buy a part pretty much any where
their called aftermarket parts and 90% of time made by same companies cant say its made by ford or honda since they do not make many of there part but smaller companies do no differents in that
but with ebay you never know not like a parts store where you can just take it back if its not right
and you never know about who is selling what or if they have it

Hi all! Suzuki Vzr1800 Stock Horsepower just got published: http://webtechinfo.com/Forum… (by arrerbspils)
Fords have the best resale value cause ppl SAY there truck is worth that much.. Youd be surprised how much ppl pay for psd's around here its crazy.. Ford didnt make there own ungine till the 6.7 “scorpion”.. Oh and whats the resale value of a 6.0? saw one uo the road last year (2005 f450 dually flatbed 5 speed 2wd…)—2500$…Wow
jesus that thing doesnt hook up well
I wouldn't as there is too much of a chance of things going wrong. Leaky nitrous lines (fire), detonation, unexpected acceleration, oil depletion on cylinder walls, drive line troubles, and last but not least risk of explosion in an accident.
