I was looking at a 2008 Harley Davidson Sportster 1200N but is it a girls bike?
I think the all black one looks pretty awesome but I've had buddies tell me sportsters are for chicks. Let me know what you think.
Well, I am a girl and was going to buy a Nightster. I ultimately got a Dyna-so is a Dyna a girls bike. I know girls who ride Deluxes, Fatboys, Streetglides, Ultras, V-rods, Sportsters, and a Springer. Damn, not many bikes for the boys to buy if you look at it that way. Harley-Davidison does not make motorcycles for women, if they did they would come in pink.

My Harley Davidson Sportster 1200C with some new bits and pieces
What do they nay sayers have to say about Harley Davidson's we ride free program?
Buy a new Sportster and receive a guarantee that you will receive it's MSRP value as a trade in value in 1 years time.... hmm, can't imagine that could possibly ever work for anything japanese....
So how do those that bash on harley or on Sportsters explain this away?
1 - i don't buy new, and wont... so there is no benefit for me from this program
2 - whoopity doo if it's msrp to msrp... nobody says you have to pay msrp for the sportster

Let’s be perfectly fair to Harley-Davidson; Sportsters are selling like hotcakes, and the Dark Custom bikes (883 Iron, Nightser, Forty-Eight, Street Bob, Fat Bob, and Softail Crossbones) have all proven extremely popular; they even tend to get good reviews from people who otherwise don’t like Harleys.
