harley davidson sales Looking for Straight Harley Davidson motorcycle frame?
New to Southeastern Missouri and I am looking for a decent salvage yard or someone that may have a straight Harley Davidson frame for sale. Would consider anything larger than a Sportster. Anyone out there that may be able to point me in the right direction?
there are a couple of places that I know of that deal in wrekced harleys. "wrecked harley" is one of them. another is 'ridesafely.com' (they deal in bikes AND vehicles) one of the harley places is in FL and one in IA. Check w/the guys @ Foghollow there in MO and they might be able to help you out.
I'm assuming that you're wanting to build a bike. But why a 'salvage' title frame vs. an aftermarket frame like Paughco ? If you're looking 'down the road' and wanting to build using all H-D stuff, that's a great idea - but if your #'s don't match and you have a salvage title, you're going to be at about the same place you'd be using a Daytech or Paughco.......
Why do I walk into a Harley Davidson Dealer when I have no intention of buying a HD in the first place?
Choose One:
"A" I go to a HD Dealer and expect to be treated rude to reinforce my hate for HD?
"B" I love to go to a HD Dealer to look at the used Japanese Bikes they have for sale?
"C" I love to look at the high prices of new HD's and laugh out loud, "ha ha ha " and try to figure out why people pay that much?
"D" All The Above
because the local HD Dealer has the best selection of used Japanese Bikes and its fun to watch the HD Owners complain that its a crime to display Jap bikes with HD's

from stealing our jobs” which was just published today: and I'd like to explain why I disagree with your posting:
1. You wrote that jobs in the exporting industries make up for the jobs lost in import-competing industries. But this would be true only if trade were in balance. If we were insisting that our trade with China be in balance, they would be dismantling their barriers to American-made products and companies like Harley-Davidson would be expanding US production not laying off workers.
2. You gave various excuses for the reason why our trade deficit with China was out of balanced, but ignored the real reason: that the Chinese government have been pursuing a policy designed to export, but not import from the United States. We used their 30% tariff on Harley-Davidson motorcycles as our example, but there is the small matter of the more than $1 trillion of dollars that they have accumulated as part of their currency manipulations.
3. You claimed that the Chinese market is small and that is why we have a trade deficit. Their motorcycle market is not small and it is growing at a 15% clip. Harley-Davidson sales would be growing rapidly there if they were not for the Chinese-government imposed trade barriers.
The fact is that our trade with China is not free trade. It is purposely kept unbalanced by the Chinese government. We recommend Import Certificates as the best way to bring our trade into balance.
