What is the M.P.G. ratings for Harley Davidson motorcycles, specifically the factory C.V.O. models.?
Fuel injected vs. carberetor units; Road Glide & V-Rods.
The mileage "ratings" for current models are available on the Harley-Davidson website for each specific model. At present, H-D only offers fuel injection, the last carbureted bikes were produced in 2006 (and were a distinct minority of production from 2004-2006, especially in touring models). To the best of my knowledge, CVO models have all had FI since 2002 or 2003.
The mileage ratings H-D shows are not always reflective of real-world figures, however. They result from controlled condition tests on dynamometers, and are prepared for, and in conformance with, federal government regulations. For instance, as I recall, my 2006 FLHTI (Electra Glide, Injected) was rated at something like 46 MPG; however, I have found that actual mileage varies significantly with speed, altitude and aggressiveness on the part of the right wrist. I have seen mileage from around 32-36 MPG at 80-85 MPH (with an occasional run to 110 or so) on the desert during the summer to 55 MPG at around 65 running from the mountains to the desert during the fall. Usually, I plan on around 40 MPG, with mileage between 40 and 45 MPG at 65-75 MPH.

You wouldn't recognize it. Rich's is long gone. Sandy Springs is a city now, not just a suburb and the Buckhead village is being completely redesigned a redeveloped. They want to turn it into the "Rodeo Drive of the South". High Rise condos are everywhere.

Yes, you really are bored waiting for your new ride to be delivered!!! 2. I will try to give you some tips based upon what I have learned since getting my Road King.
The absolute first tip is you will automatically join as a member of HOG (Harley Owners Group). Some riders stay away from this, some embrace it. I am sort of in-between. You will find that unlike other brands of bike, Harley owners really do form a sort of brotherhood / sisterhood and you will probably enjoy this. Try an event or two, or a ride out with your dealer. Seeing where you live, there is one event you should not miss and that is the SOFER Rally. It is excellent. See but you need to do it quick as tickets run out fast – you may need your HOG membership number to book a ticket though. Ask your dealer to get the ticket for you if needed.
My second tip is check out Brett Tours and get yourself booked early on one of their short tours in Europe. I did this soon after getting my Road King and I went on one of their tours in Northern France. Great fun and I have now done a number of tours with them, including to Austria and Spain. It is a great way to meet fellow H-D riders and to share in a H-D ride. They organise everything, so it is easy and a great way to just enjoy riding your bike!

I used to love to go Roller skating at Rollerworld on Saturday morning/afternoons and at International on Davidson road. I remember Rollerworld having skating for “a Penny a Pound.” Back then I could skate for under $1. Now it would cost me more than two dollars if they still had penny a pound!

Wow.. because of the pictures of 9/11 we all will never forget and the honour of the firefighters I really like your bike!
There's not much conflict here between the government and the operator. Both want high usage of the tunnel. Presumably they together set the price at what they thought was the cost (in time and fuel) saved by using the tunnel, for some fraction of the population. They would've anticipated some baulking at the price in the early months, but if usage stays low after a few months, they'll lower the price. Hard to see the social problem….
I do, however, agree with comrade Davidson on road closures.
