Looking for a new motorcycle that will fit tall and big me.?
I weight in at 350 pounds, stand 6 foot eight inches tall
My current steed a 1981 Honda Goldwing is tired,
and critical parts are often difficult to source. The machine
has almost 300,000 kilometres and has a hard life.
Harley-Davidson machines aa well as trikes disappear when
I get on them, I am that big..long legs, long upper body huge chest long arms.
I may stop riding as nothing viable is out there and at age
60 maybe it is time to stop riding...
Head to your local BMW dealer and try out the GS1200 models. Seat height is around 34 inches. Handlebar risers are available for the GS. Also consider having the seat redone by a custom seat maker. The custom seat makers can redo the seat to allow you to sit higher and open up the distance between the seat and pegs. Good Luck

Biker Club etiquette?
My 60+ year old Uncle recently bought a Harley Davidson motorcycle. It's something that he always wanted. He also got the proper riding gear, leathers etc. He actually is now friends with others who ride and some are part of "christian" bike clubs.
None the less my Uncle put his name on his riding vest with a patch. It was lets say black and white. He was approached by the "president" of this 'Christian" club and said that he "needed approval" to use their colors!??
Ok I am gonna say this. Really does it matter? What is the deal? I don't get it.
any club that features flatulating obnoxious machines, untold millions of tatoos, braless, toothless wenches, and venereal disease-infested scum, has no etiquette other than perhaps prison etiquette on wheels.

Thick maxi pads (sorry, just being honest!)

I have never been horseback riding, but I'm sure that would work.
Crossing my legs and rocking on rocking chair.
Sitting on a bidet (first time was in a hotel on a business trip. I spent almost the entire time on it! – kidding) – but it really does the trick.
