Could GM change the truck they use in the Craftsman Truck Series if they choose to bring this beast back?

I don't believe it, but the more I look into it, the more I think it's going to happen. The El Camino could be making its return to the GM line in the United States for sale as soon as 2009, or as late as 2011.
Is this just a creative way to lose money? or do you think GM will have success in bringin' back the El Camino?
I have always loved El Caminos.. they had there distinct uglier models as well, but I still ALWAYS wanted one as a kid growing up. (I also had the notion I'd have a Harley Davidson to put in the back lol).... Anyways, Just wanted everyone elses input on if they think this venture would sink or swim for GM?
AND... If it did happen, could GM use the El Camino in the Craftsman Truck Series? It's considered a truck... I think
Unfortunately, every sanctioning body I have dealt with has considered Elkies, and Rancheros as neither cars nor pick-ups. That really sucks, because I thought I had a really good way to "cheat" with my aerodynamics, making the bed of a Ranchero nothing more than a giant wing.
BTW, that's not a bad looking vehicle, but I'm still partial to Ford's Falcon Ute down under!!!

Harley 1200 Nightster.?
http://www.harley-davidson.com/wcm/Content/Pages/2009_Motorcycles/2009_Motorcycles.jsp?locale=en_US&bmLocale=en_US#/model/xl1200n Okay...What do you all think? I'm considering buying one this spring, Is this a nice bike?
Please don't respond with the whole "Harley's suck, buy a sport bike" crap. I got rid of my Ducati last year, I'm not really wanting another impractical rocket...
I'm 5'5 so I'm not really looking for a huge harley either...
I just want an in town/weekend rider.
I own one. I like it a lot. In town and Weekend it is great. You will not go more than 150 to 200 miles on a tank if that. Windshields look dorky on a nightster IMO and they really don't make much in the way of saddle bags for them. HD officially makes none. This is a one person bike with no storage so I am not sure it qualifies as practical. My wife has ridden with me a couple of times, but we can't go more than across town. it's just too low for good 2up riding. Now, I understand mods, aftermarket, and the like but from the factory this is a powerful comfortable 1 person in town machine with some longer ride potential. I love mine, and when I pay it off I will get a bigger bike, but I will never get rid of this. For what it was designed to be I think it is great! I am 5'8 and I had to move to forward controls for comfort on longer trips but the mids were fine in town. You will be comfy at 5'5, but try putting the stand down on it with the mid controls. I had a tough time at 5'8 reaching past the peg in the mid position.

Yes, but I found it took too much room to turn and I'm just 5'2" — so it was a little heavy for me to handle.
Do you have any models that fit a Big-Dog K-9? When I am looking in catalogs what, if any, Harley-Davidson models would cross reference and fit my K-9?
no haven't herd it until now obviously
