Good MSF Course in Maryland?

Does anyone know of which MSF Basic Rider Course is good in Maryland? I was going to take a course at either a Harley-Davidson dealership or a Community College. Then I noticed on the Maryland MVA website it lists the fees for all the independent places that do MSF training and then there is apparently training at the MVA which is much more reasonable. Most of the places list their charge for the class as around $300, but it's more like $340 when you add in extra charges. The MVA's Basic Rider Course is listed at $175.

I was wondering why this is? I assume the Community Colleges and dealerships need to make something out of the courses. Right? Has anyone taken or done the BRC course through the MVA or their state's DMV? Are those classes good and equal to the independent places?

I took the BRC at the Glen Burnie MVA. It was excellent.
I have friends that have taken it there AND friends that have taken it at the Harley dealership( Rider's Edge). One had been riding for years and just wanted to be legal. He personally did not like the Buells as bikes to learn on at the Rider's Edge class.I liked the 450 Nighthawks to learn on in the BRC, and they had a few 250 Rebels for smaller people and 1 500cc Kawasaki in case of really tall riders.

Selling Harley Davidson motorcycles for a career?

I would love a career with H-D. I have a employment history in sales although I'm only 19. I live in Maryland. I am wondering if selling Harleys is even possible for a career? With a struggling econemy and a state that gets cold in the winter. Assuming I do decent at the job, about how much can I expect to bring in?

Might want to start with more youth oriented bikes and get experience that way, maybe in 10 or 20 years you could move on to something like a Harley dealership. Those old geezers aren't going to take a 19 yr old very seriously. WELL, unless you think the area dealership sells a lot of sportys and Buells. Go talk to the area dealership owners or sales managers. Right now I'd say the experienced salesmen are starving.
