Teflon mouse feet/skates wearing off my Razer Destructor or viceversa?
Hello I have a Razer Mamba mouse and a Razer Destructor mousepad. Had them both for 3 weeks or so now. Been playing a bit of Quake Live during this time. My issue is that now the Mamba no longer moves as smoothly on the middle side of the pad where it was most used on. When I bring it to the sides of the pad it behaves/glides like brand new.
I tried new teflon skates for the mouse because that's what I initially thought was the problem but they suck.
What do you guys know about this? Should I try to find some skates made out of a different material other than teflon? Is the Destructor washabale/repairable or is it gonna stay this way regardless of what skates I buy for the mouse?
I forgot to mention the mouse feet are kind of 'eaten', not much but for 3 weeks of use only they kind of are too worn off. And also the problem I described is pretty bothersome is not just that I want perfect gliding of the mouse
It sounds like your mouse pad is dirty or worn out. I recommend one with a hard, textured surface. (if this describes yours, look at it closely to see if the texture has worn off of parts of it)
Best of luck!
