Is it bad for my hair if I do this once a week...will it get damaged ?

If I...
1. Blow dry my hair on high on hot. I use Thermal Protection by Chi. It's this http://www.folica.com/CHI_44_Iron_Gua_d2540.html
2. Then straighten my hair on 410 F with a Sedu straightener. I use heat glide by Redken. The straightener is this http://www.folica.com/Sedu_Ionic_Cera_d1560.html... and the heat protectant http://www.folica.com/CHI_44_Iron_Gua_d2540.html

The day I plan on doing all of this I use:
--Shampoo: Redken Smooth Down
--Conditioner: Leave in Butter Treat
The thing is I have really coarse, fizzy, wavy, dry hair so I need to blow dry my hair fairly straight and then use the straightener on 410F or else it won’t look good. But I’m afraid the heat protectants won’t provide enough protection and my hair will get even more damaged.
So is this ok or too much heat?

Thanks for the help!

sorry the flat iron is http://www.folica.com/Sedu_Ionic_Cera_d1560.html

how to grow out african american hair fast?

i want to grow my hair to a little below my shoulders which is about 3 inches and i cant seem to find an easy explanation on the internet/youtube? (but i read that it can make a difference if you trim your split ends, and i also read that it doesnt really help at all. please clarify that if you can!) if there are any african american girls that had the same problem and grew their hair out quickly please tell me how! my hair is what you call "a stubborn 's' curl" at the roots and IT JUST WONT GROW QUICKLY. please, i will accept any advice!
(p.s.- if it helps, i DO straighten my hair atleast once a week, which i know is horrible for your hair, but i use redken smooth down heat glide which is supposed to protect your hair from heat damage, so my hair is NOT badly fried at all.)

thanks! (:

DO NOT heat your hair that often! Wait at least 2 weeks, but my suggestion would be just once a month. Trim it every 6 weeks so that your hair grows out properly. If you don't trim it, your hair will grow but it'll just grow into split ends that will break off anyway. Do not wash it every day because that depletes the moisture from your hair, which will cause your hair to break off (actually that happened to me and I went from back length hair to ear length). Wait at least a week! (If your hair natural, wait at least a week to 2 weeks, if it is relaxed you can do it every 3 days or so)

Understand there is a certain length your hair will grow that you cannot do anything about (that goes for any race). But you can do certain things to hit that limit faster. Go to your hair dresser and get a deep oil conditioning once a month. Also when you wash it, massage your hair for about 3 minutes and that stimulates your head thus stimulating hair growth.

These are the best little tips that really make a difference! Hope I helped!

engine and the transmission would be ruined the transmission is cooled by the radiator (if automatic)

  • An overheated engines possible damage are blown head gasket, warped head, cracked head, warped engine block, and weakened piston rings. The reason an overheated car "stops by itself" is because the rings loose their spring tension and the engine has a reduction in compression causing the engine to stall or "loss of power". If the engine is run to the point of "siezing up", it may turn again after it is allowed to cool, however some components may suffer damage.
To check out an engine that has been overheated, start with a compression test, a cylinder leakage test, engine oil analysis, and oil filter inspection. Any engine that has been overheated needs to have the cooling system overhauled, radiator, hoses, water pump and cooling fan.
