I was bored and remembered that I had a passion for bikes when I was a lad and just to feel a bit nostalgic I just decided to check the bikes and I found one that I really liked!
Is a VRSCB I just love that bike is so freakin sexy I would like to know price used, the price in the market and the price straight from the factory if you please.
If you have any recommendations, please feel free to post them
Pricing you can find from your dealership, Kelley blue book, and even ebay to see what people are asking for them. They do sit on the floor for a while and the biggest issue with them is oil consumption. They will start using oil if not broken in properly. Right out of the box, they need to be ridden like you stole it. The V-Rod isn't like it's big twin or XL brothers and shouldn't be treated the same. What happens is that if broken in like the air cooled engines, the cylinders will glaze over and blow by will occur due to not enough heat being created cuz the engine is being lugged. V-rods are high rpm engines that are water cooled. Allow it to warm up then keep that engine singing. Cruising at 3000-3500rpm at 45mph isn't unheard of. HD allows 1qt of oil for every 1000mi of riding to be acceptable. Not in my book but they won't back you if you have that or less. Be wary of buying a used one for just such reasons. Getting into a v-rod engine is costly and not many tech's out there have experience with them. If you like to cruise in a layed back fashion, the V-rod unfortunately, may not be for you. If you like to rocket around and keep the engine rpm's singing, then by all means, rip it up.
