It is worth a minimum amount to the seller, the least he is willing to take for it.
It is worth some maximum that you are willing to give to buy the bike.
Since I do not know you or the seller I cannlt tell you what the bike is worth to either of you. All I can tell you is what the bike is worth to me -- nothing.

chome plating question?
i have a harley, and i want to get my rear wheel chrome dipped, but i dont know how much it would cost?... or where i could get it done... does any custom shop do chrome dipping??
No dipping, Electro plating.
Look in the Yellow pages for someone in your area, or google for somewhere to mail.
Metal polishing and plating.
200-400 for a mag wheel, if it's spoked, you are better off tearing it down and rebuilding it with a new rim.

Mr. Vaughs thanks for commenting and you are absolutely correct about the absence of black riders in the movie “Easy Rider”. Hollywood portrayed the movie to show white riders as the only riders out in America. When the movie came out in 1969 the black bikers weren't recognized by the media. Take a look at the plot of the movie: Two young “hippie” bikers, Wyatt and Billy sell some dope in Southern California, stash their money away in their gas-tank and set off for a trip across America, on their own personal odyssey looking for a way to lead their lives. On the journey they encounter bigotry and hatred from small-town communities who despise and feared their non-conformism.
They traveled through the Southwest and ended up in the South, New Orleans Louisiana during Mardi Gras. Now looking at the plot we as black men and women during that time experienced the same bigotry and hatred as well as being despised but not for being non-conformists. We were despised for being black. The twist in this is being a black biker in mainstream USA wasn't interesting to America. We stayed to ourselves and built the bikes we wanted to ride. Like “Custom Harley Davidson's” Chopper style motorcycles.
The pivotal part for me was the intent of the movie was to try and explore the societal landscape, issues, and tensions in the United States during the 1960s, such as the rise and fall of the hippie movement, drug use, and communal lifestyle. What did they miss? They missed what was truly going on at that time. Our struggle as Black Men and Women fighting for freedom and equal rights. A true picture of what was really going on wasn't displayed. What was displayed was what would sell. I am not mad at the fact that getting paid was the most important thing to all of you.
If you are up for the challenge I would love to bring out what you know to be true. Let's show along side Wyatt and Billy what was happening with Black Bikers in California. The Black Panthers were alive and strong and their were black bikers who were down with the struggle. You are an integral part of our story because you designed the bikes for the movie “Easy Rider” and “Benny Hardy” was a friend of yours who you contracted to build two of the bikes for the movie.
Happenings in 1969: 1969 Anti-Vietnam War demonstration in Washington DC, On May l, 1969 the Black Panther Party held a massive rally in San Francisco, speakers Kathleen Cleaver, Bobby Seale, and Charles Garry present the rally's demands for the release of Huey Newton and all political prisoners and during 1969 the FBI had the Counter-intelligence program to try to destroy African Americans, especially the Black Panther Party and the New Left. There were other poignant political issues apparent at that time like the Vietnam War. This isn't to say all of these important times in history are relative to the black biker but black bikers were involved in these struggles.

There are heaps of aftermarket pipes that you can fit to your bike.
The first ones that spring to mind is Lazer and Staintune. Both will give the bike a good sound. GTY-R may also make a exhaust system for your bike and it will be specifically designed for you bike to optimise power, but dont be a Harley pretender. Put on pipes that a specailist advises you to fit for more power and sound.
Its a good idea to have sports air filters fitted at the same time, and also have the carbs rejetted and tuned to suit.
If you want a Harley sound, buy a Harley. Your bike will have its own unique sound.
