Can Harley issue another emblem for anniversary issued bikes I have a 95th Anniversary flh and the name plate?
Harley Davidson only built 3000 special anniversary models in the year 1998 FLHCUI Which is a Ultra Classic Touring model. The special edition nameplate which fits on the gas tank of the number of bike built such as 1 of 3000. Well mine is wore and not so visible and needs replaced. I understand if you send the old one to Harley Davidson they will issue you a new one . Is this correct and if it is How do I get a hold of the busy corporate headquarters or who to call. I am just an old school Harley guy.
This is true, same with the Heritage Nostalgia model tank emblems and several other limited production items.
The only way you can do this, is through an official HD dealer, and you must provide the VIN, proof of ownership and the old emblem for them to send back to HD.
